It should not be this difficult to get our students the education they deserve
Fight for increased funding from the state through billionaire & corporate taxes like Prop 3 and Prop 40
Invest in programs & initiatives that keep students enrolled and in the classroom - smaller class sizes, keep ICE out
Look into local initiatives to tax billionaires and keep schools open, like the school bond ballot initiative
Keep homes affordable and explore local rent control initiatives so families can stay in the neighborhood

Keep AI programs out of classrooms and invest in teachers and programs that actually form relationships with students and help them learn real world skills
Audit current Ed Tech contracts to ensure we are spending our money to keep students in school, not on corporate AI contracts
Prioritize reading, writing, and hands on activities for our students to develop deep learning and real relationships

Abolish ICE, it has no place in our education system or society
Block ICE from school grounds without valid judicial warrants
Educate families & students on their rights and how to respond to an ICE alert through continued canvassing and community events
Work with teachers to establish programs & best practices to keep kids safe

Demand transparency from the County and create resources for the community to breakdown and understand the school budget
Audit current spending practices, and provide transparency for parents and teachers in the district on how money is being spent
Hold regular community outreach events and be a consistent point of contact so families know what is happening in their district
